Please read this section carefully. The following provisions apply when ordering custom wire sets:
Custom wire sets are not returnable unless they were not built in conformance with your instructions. Please note that wire lengths are guaranteed to within +/- 0.5 inches only. You can be assured though that Aurora takes great pride in giving you what you want and that is guaranteed.
Custom ignition wire sets are fully covered by Aurora's limited lifetime warranty, provided that both ends of the leads are terminated and booted by Aurora. Universal sets or leads with one or both ends not terminated, are not covered under any warranty.
Custom spark plug wires are available in a sharp looking red jacket with white print or a beautiful black jacket with white print. The choice is yours. Check out the Wire Features page for more information on the construction of Aurora wires.
Measurements provided are to be the required finished length in INCHES i.e. the total overall length of the lead, including the boots. For 90° boots (right angle distributor and spark plug), measure to/from the outside bend of the boot. For 180° boots (straight distributor and spark plug), measure to/from the extreme end of the boot. For 22.5° and 45° spark plug boots measure to/from the outside bend of the boot.
To assist you in boot selection and to avoid any confusion in the ordering/building process, the distributor, coil and spark plug boot part numbers shown in the Wire Building Components catalog must be used.
Contact us with your request for a custom set and upon review, we will send back a price quote within 24 hours. In your request, please include the following information:

intended application (e.g. make, model and year, if known).

state if you have headers.

state color of wire jacket desired (red or black).

if you require one (or both) end (s) unterminated, please state which end you wish to remain unfinished.

if you require a coil lead, be sure to add the dimensions with the other leads.

for EACH lead, including the coil lead, use the part numbers as shown in the Wire Building Components catalog. As some distributor/coil boots may use more than one terminal type, you must supply both the distributor/coil boot part number and terminal part number IF more than one terminal type is shown. It is not necessary to provide terminal type for any distributor/coil boot where only one terminal type is identified or, for any spark plug boot.

the measurements for each lead are to begin with the distributor/coil boot part number, followed by the terminal part number (if necessary), followed by the overall length in inches, followed by the spark plug/coil boot part number.
As an example: if you require a 24 inch lead utilzing distributor boot 97517 with terminal 97512 and spark plug boot 97531, your request must be written as 97517/97512/24/97531.
Similarly, an 18 inch lead utilizing distributor boot 97519 and spark plug boot 97529 would be written as 97519/18/97529.
